Who We Are
CEDaR is a research center at the University of Colorado Boulder set up by scholars and students from the Program in Environmental Design and other disciplines. This center serves as a resource center for community engagement, urban management and design in collboration with faculty in the Program in Environmental Design (ENVD) and other entities within and outside of the University of Colorado Boulder. CEDaR partners with Colorado communities to develop tools for building resilient and equitable places.
The center works at the community level and larger regional scale, with an emphasis on issues of sustainability, and participatory planning and design of housing and public spaces. It carries out funded research in these areas and responds to requests for services from public and private agencies and community-based interest groups.
Created by MH residents for MH residents, The Colorado Coalition of Manufactured Home Owners (CoCoMHO) was founded in 2017 to provide yearly forums, resources, and other ways of helping MH residents address a wide range of their concerns, including the increasingly worsening situations that some MH residents face across the state.
We are an active group working to promote policies and shape state programs that protect Colorado manufactured home community residents. If you are a concerned manufactured home owner or tenant, or someone who wants to support MHC resident rights, we want to keep you informed — and help connect you with resources and others who share your concerns.
